WorksafeBC has provided an electronic copy of their Inspection Report 201717356002A as requested via FIPP; the City of Victoria Permits and Licenses department oversight of the Starlight Investments Ltd Goodacres Towers 350-360 Douglas Street, Victoria Renovations Project since 2016 appears deficient in an apparent duty of care to adequately apprise residents of the likelihood of health impact issues that may arise during both the interior and exterior renovations; and, there is no apparent Public Health Office BC intervention following information being provided by the MLA Carole James to BC Housing Minister; and, considering that there is concern for pets, children, compromised health matters of all ages of residents through the Canada Health Act; and, therein, a likelihood of the jurisdiction of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms; it therein, follows that there is a need for the good administration of justice to come to order through a general intervention of all three levels of government to ensure that a daily supervision - in the public interest - occurs, forthwith, post haste, through which individual residents shall receive their individual personal letters of updated advisements; through which they may choose to seek the advice of competent legal counsel of choice regarding an understanding of jeopardy and reaction in a just society.
